Permanent Long Term Restoration

Overview:

There are four main phases to the permanent long term restoration project:

Phase I: Selecting an Engineering Firm – COMPLETE

Sunrise Engineering Study Agreement:

Agreement for Trout Canyon Water Improvements Project – PER & EA 7.18.14[1]

PHASE II: Securing the funding necessary for the Engineering Study – IN PROGRESS

Total Funds required = $74,300

$30,000 USDA SEARCH Grant – awarded USDA Engineering Study Funding

Balance of funds $44,300 being pursued via the “Drinking Water State Revolving Fund” (DWSRF) which for disadvantaged communities (with a median income level of $42,800 which is below the threshold of $43,266 Trout Canyon is considered disadvantaged) is provided as “principal forgiveness” which is the equivalent of a grant.  We have made the agenda for the DWSRF board meeting on September 09, 2014.
